The Vietnamese women's volleyball team with the most championship wins in history achieved a swift victory, entering the top 3 of the 2026 National Championship.

By defeating LPB Ninh Bình 3-0 (27-25,25-19,25-22), the Information Corps (BCTT) of Army Corps 19 entered the women's top 3 of the 2026 National Championship.

The match between the Information Corps of Army Corps 19 and LPBank Ninh Bình in the 2026 National Volleyball Championship was significant as an "early final" in the race for a Hung Vuong Cup ticket. Both teams were forced to win to maintain their chances, so even before the match started, experts predicted a tense and tactically rich contest.

The opening set unfolded excitingly with consecutive tug-of-war moments. The Information Corps started more proactively by organizing diverse attacks, effectively utilizing wing strikes to quickly create a gap.

However, LPBank Ninh Bình did not easily accept the situation. The team from the ancient capital continuously chased back thanks to solid defensive ability and sharp counterattacks. At one point Ninh Bình even surged ahead, making the match extremely tense.

After overcoming the challenge in the first set, the Information Corps played more spiritedly in the second set. Their balanced lineup helped them maintain continuous pressure on Ninh Bình's block. Effective backline defensive ability also allowed the women's soldier-uniformed team many quick transition plays, thereby establishing a safe lead. Meanwhile, LPBank Ninh Bình began showing signs of fatigue, their combinations lacking cohesion, especially with unstable first-step execution. Information seized the opportunity well to win 25-19.

The third set witnessed Ninh Bình's final effort to cling to hope. The team coached by Thai Thanh Tung proactively increased speed, playing more riskily in attacking situations. The match thus became balanced for most of the time. However, when entering the decisive stage, Information's steadiness once again proved effective. Timely blocking moves and calm handling situations helped them pull ahead and close the set with a 25-22 score.

This was a match where setter Lam Oanh and main attacker Nguyen Thi Phong played well, contributing greatly to the Information Corps' victory. Meanwhile, the Chinese foreign player on Ninh Bình's side caused great disappointment on a day when the national runner-up team could not show much.
