The reigning champion of Vietnamese women's volleyball achieved a convincing win against the star-studded team coached by Tuấn Kiệt at the 2026 Hoa Lư Bình Điền Cup.

Both VTV Bình Điền Long An and Hanoi Tasco Auto Club fielded very strong lineups in their opening match at the 2026 Hoa Lư Bình Điền Cup. For VTV Bình Điền Long An, Cuban main attacker Lianet Garcia started alongside players like Kim Thoa, Như Anh, Lan Vy… but they did not have the support of auxiliary attacker Đặng Thị Kim Thanh.

On the side of Hanoi Tasco Auto Club, coach Tuấn Kiệt utilized all of his top domestic players such as Ánh Thảo, Lê Thanh Thúy, Yến Nhi, Khánh Đang, Phạm Thùy Linh, and main attacker Như Quỳnh. Meanwhile, Long An became increasingly stable in all technical aspects from the first step, setting, to scoring attacks. Coach Ngọc Hoa's players coordinated quite rhythmically and handled the ball flexibly, continuously narrowing the point gap before equalizing the score at 23-23, then scoring two consecutive decisive final points to "close the set" with a 25-23 victory after Nguyễn Lan Vy's decisive spike.

In the third set, VTV Bình Điền Long An continued to be the better-performing team, quickly establishing a lead over Hanoi Tasco Auto Club and maintaining that advantage to finish the set with a 25-18 win, thereby securing a 3-0 overall victory.
