Bích Tuyền has been absent from competition since the landmark win against Thailand in stage 2 of the SEA V.League 2025.
Alongside Trần Thị Thanh Thúy, Nguyễn Thị Bích Tuyền is one of the leading offensive stars of Vietnamese women's volleyball, significantly contributing to the national team's achievements on the continental and international stages. Therefore, Bích Tuyền’s sudden absence since the decisive match in stage 2 of the SEA V.League 2025 surprised many fans.
Volleyball fans remain very interested in the next steps of the Vĩnh Long native outside hitter. At the end of January, Bích Tuyền appeared in training videos alongside teammates at LPB Ninh Bình. However, it is certain that the 2000-born attacker will not compete professionally this season - according to the confirmation from head coach Thái Thanh Tùng, instead she participates in training sessions in a more special role.
Bích Tuyền is currently a member of the LPB Ninh Bình coaching staff, with specific responsibilities and remains an important figure - according to Mr. Tùng’s statement. In the video posted on the channel Đinh Thuý Sport - DTT, the 25-year-old outside hitter was hitting balls for teammates to practice their first ball reception, and at times even acted as the referee during a pre-season friendly match against VietinBank.
