Set 5: Indonesia 12-15 Thailand
Despite having the psychological edge, Indonesia couldn’t maintain control against Thailand. Meanwhile, Napadet and his teammates grew stronger, making an impressive surge to build a safe lead.
Indonesia’s late efforts were insufficient to turn the tide.
In the end, Thailand defeated Indonesia 3-2 (25-20; 16-25; 25-23; 23-25; 15-12) to win the SEA Games 33 gold medal.
