The first set of the SEA Games 33 bronze medal match between Indonesia and the Philippines was unpredictable and thrilling. Both teams were neck and neck early on; the Philippines took a 14-11 lead, but Indonesia responded with a 7-point streak powered by Namira Maradanti’s highly effective serves.

After the impressive first set, Indonesia quickly lost momentum. Yoku and Megawati were overwhelmed by the Philippines' well-organized blocking, while the Philippines gradually found their rhythm—Solomon, Canino, Palomata, and Provido all performed excellently.
With high spirits, the Philippines surged ahead to claim a convincing win in the second set, leveling the match at 1-1.
Set 3: Indonesia 30-28 Philippines
Another unpredictable set unfolded in the bronze medal match. Indonesia took an early lead and controlled most of the third set, but the Philippines caught up during the final stretch, forcing overtime once again.
In overtime, both teams missed several clear chances to close the set, making unforced errors such as serving out, poor reception, and hitting too hard. Canino regretted a golden opportunity when she hit the ball out. Indonesia capitalized on the next two points to clinch a dramatic 30-28 victory, now just one set away from the SEA Games 33 bronze medal.
