Set 1: Vietnam 25-12 Singapore
Singapore surprised by winning the first set against Thailand yesterday, but against Vietnam, the "Lion Island" team couldn't maintain their impressive form. Our attackers, including Ngọc Thuân, Văn Tiên, and Quốc Dư, performed brilliantly under the coordination of Đinh Văn Duy, with the setter from Biên Phòng also scoring 2 points through an ace and a two-touch play.
Effective offense and solid defense, Vietnam raced to a strong finish in set 1, winning decisively 25-12.
Set 2: Vietnam 25-16 Singapore
Singapore played with great effort and determination, but overall Vietnam was on a completely different level. Their diverse tactics, powerful spikes, and superior jump ability allowed our attackers to dominate the net against a less favored opponent, securing another clear victory, leading 2-0 and firmly holding their second win at SEA Games 33.
Set 3: Vietnam 25-20 Singapore
An excellent set from Singapore. They took advantage of Vietnam’s temporary drop in performance to surge ahead, scoring continuously thanks to impressive plays, strong blocking, and effective serving from the "Lion Island" players, which was highly commendable.
However, after leading 14-12, Singapore lost control of the match. Vietnam scored 3 consecutive points to reverse the situation, then extended the lead and maintained it until the final points.
Final result, Vietnam defeated Singapore 3-0 (25-12; 25-16; 25-20).
