On December 14th, SEA Games 2025 volleyball continues energetically with important matches in both men’s and women’s categories. For women, at 10:00 AM Malaysia faces Singapore for the 5th–6th place. The two most awaited semifinals take place at 12:30 PM between Vietnam and the Philippines, and at 3:00 PM between Thailand and Indonesia. Meanwhile, the men’s category features a Group A match at 5:30 PM where Vietnam competes against Singapore.

Before these matches, the Vietnamese women’s volleyball team is showing excellent form. On December 12th, coach Nguyễn Tuấn Kiệt’s squad defeated Indonesia 3-0 (25-20, 25-13, 25-19) to top Group B. Earlier, Vietnam also defeated Myanmar and Malaysia 3-0 each, demonstrating clear superiority in skill and squad depth. The Vietnamese women’s team’s goal is to reach the final and compete for the gold medal.

In the men’s category, Vietnam also had a strong start by beating Laos 3-0 (25-13, 25-20, 25-14). Coach Trần Đình Tiền allowed all 14 players to play, helping the team control the match and gain positive momentum for upcoming games.
