The SEA Games 2025 volleyball competition continues with an exciting series of matches on December 13th. In the women’s category, the classification match between Malaysia and Singapore will take place at 10:00 AM. For men, Group B will see Myanmar face the Philippines at 12:30 PM, while Group A features two matches: Laos vs Vietnam at 3:00 PM and Thailand vs Singapore at 5:30 PM.

Previously, the Vietnam women's volleyball team defeated Indonesia 3-0 on December 12th, securing a semifinal spot as the leader of Group B. In that match, the Vietnamese team played confidently and energetically, winning sets 25-20, 25-13, and 25-19. Although Indonesia started well and led 4-0, coach Nguyễn Tuấn Kiệt’s squad quickly regained control with sharp attacking and effective blocking.

This year, the Vietnamese women's team aims to reach the final and has been showing impressive performance. Before the match against Indonesia, the team won 3-0 against Myanmar (25-9, 25-10, 25-6) on opening day December 10th and then defeated Malaysia 3-0 (25-8, 25-5, 25-3) on December 11th. Despite rotating the lineup and giving young players chances, Vietnam completely dominated their opponents, showing a balanced roster and solid preparation for the knockout stage.

As group leaders, the Vietnamese women’s team will compete for a spot in the final on December 14th, with the goal of fighting for the gold medal against the host nation, Thailand.
