Men’s indoor volleyball at SEA Games 33 will take place from December 13 to 19 at the Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok’s capital. This venue is familiar to Asian audiences, having hosted many major regional and international tournaments.

With Cambodia’s withdrawal, the men’s event now features only 7 teams, divided into two groups as follows:

  • Group A: Thailand (host), Vietnam, Laos, Singapore
  • Group B: Indonesia (defending champion), Philippines, Myanmar

Teams are split into two groups, with the top two from each group advancing to the semifinals to contest the prestigious gold medal. Additionally, classification matches for places 5 to 7 will be held for the remaining teams.

Vietnam men’s volleyball team participating in SEA Games 2025 with the best possible lineup, where Nguyễn Ngọc Thuân is expected to lead the team’s offense. In the most recent edition, coach Trần Đình Tiền’s squad secured the bronze medal after defeating Thailand.

The current men’s indoor volleyball champion at SEA Games is Indonesia, following a smooth victory over Cambodia.
