The Vietnam women's volleyball team has made a notable adjustment aimed at securing the gold medal at SEA Games 33.
To further refine their professional preparations for the goal of competing for gold at SEA Games 33, the Vietnam women's volleyball team is expected to soon move their training location from Quảng Ninh to Vĩnh Long in the near future.
According to information from the coaching staff, the relocation plan could take place as early as next weekend, after the team completes some initial training activities at their current center.
Since there is no plan for overseas training at this stage, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation along with the coaching members have considered selecting a domestic site with weather, humidity, and training conditions similar to those in Thailand — the venue for women's volleyball at SEA Games 33.
The Vietnam women's volleyball team will train in Vĩnh Long.
Vĩnh Long, with its comparable climate and suitability for organizing competitive matches, is evaluated as the most appropriate destination at this time.
In addition to physical conditioning and tactics, the team will also organize practice matches here to increase competitive experience and improve the implementation of their playing style. This is an important preparation step amid the intense competition in Southeast Asian women's volleyball, particularly from Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia.

On November 5th, the Vietnam women's volleyball team finalized their full training squad. Players who recently took part in the 2025 National A-level tournament quickly assembled completely. Assistant coach Nguyễn Trọng Linh was also present to coordinate with the coaching staff on the professional training plan. Notably, fitness expert Karl Lim continues to accompany the team, promising clear improvements in endurance and explosive capability during matches.
This long-term, practical preparation highlights the Vietnam women's volleyball team’s determination to strive for top achievements at the upcoming SEA Games competition.
