A 1.95m tall Vietnamese middle blocker received an important decision immediately after going abroad, creating a historic milestone.

Vietnamese player Lý Thị Luyến has been approved to play for the Mongolian volleyball club Hobby Ace. This is the first time ever that a Vietnamese athlete has participated in the Mongolian National Volleyball Championship.

Middle blocker Lý Thị Luyến made her debut for the Mongolian volleyball club Hobby Ace in today’s (November 5) match against Khilchin at the national championship. The final result was Khilchin winning 3-2 (25-18, 15-25, 10-25, 25-23, and 15-11).

Lý Thị Luyến was assigned jersey number 19 at Hobby Ace. Although she could not secure a win in her debut, she gained her first experience competing in the Mongolian National Volleyball Championship.
