The third round of the FA Cup has come to an end at the weekend, and there are a few happy and some sad ones, but there are some interesting stats to be found aside.

Penalty Hero

Manchester United welcomed a new hero on Sunday when goalkeeper Altay Baindier was named in the starting line-up and saved a penalty in regulation time and in a penalty shoot-out, becoming the first goalkeeper in the Premier League to save a penalty in both regulation time and a penalty shoot-out in the same FA Cup game since 2013/14.

The offense was lackluster

Tottenham Hotspur are the fourth Premier League team to be dragged into extra-time in an FA Cup match against a non-league club after Leicester v Hereford in 99-00, Charlton Athletic v Dagenham in 00-01 and West Ham in Kidderminster in 21-22.

Father and Son

During Euro 1996, Enrique Chiesa scored at Anfield. After 29 years, his son Chiesa Junior scored at Anfield despite a rough start to the season at Liverpool. Football is really special.
