The FA Cup is the oldest football competition in the world, and teams across England and Wales have been competing for the prestigious trophy since 1871. Synonymous with football's tradition and history, who have shone in the FA Cup? The Transfermarkt website lists the top 10 players with the most goals in the FA Cup of the 21st century, including many stars.

Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has scored 27 goals in 64 FA Cup games of his career. He has won the FA Cup four times for the Blues in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2012. In second place is Manchester United Honour Wayne Rooney, the striker who has scored 23 goals in 49 FA Cup matches. In fact, Wayne Rooney has only won the FA Cup once in 2016. Third place is another former England international, Jermain Defoe, who has scored 22 FA Cup goals in 39 games. Fourth placed is the first non-English player, Manchester City's hero Sergio Agüero has scored an incredible record with 20 goals in 22 FA Cup matches.

Surprisingly, former Manchester City and Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho has scored 18 goals in 25 FA Cup games, finishing fifth. Sixth place went to Peter Crouch, a tall striker who scored 18 goals in 44 games in his career. Seventh is former Leeds United striker Jermaine Beckford, who scored 17 goals in 22 appearances, including a famous goal for the White at Old Trafford, when the White were still in the First Division. Eighth place is Darren Bent, who has scored 17 goals in 25 games. He was followed by Harry Kane, who scored 17 goals in 35 games and finished ninth. Romelu Lukaku has scored 16 goals in 25 games and is in the top 10.
