This week, the WTA 1000 Montreal Open and ATP 1000 Toronto Masters are set to start. In the opening day's matches, Chinese player Zhu Lin, who entered by ranking protection, saved a set point in the second set and ultimately defeated Glachova with a score of 6-4/7-6(3), marking a successful start. Shang Jun Cheng made his return after injury but lost to qualifying player Dakworth with a score of 3-6/6-7(3), missing out on advancement.
