Better 38 years old, Happy Birthday Djokovic!

When it comes to men's tennis, the topic that used to be unavoidable was the triumvirate of the triumvirate – Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, who dominated men's tennis for almost two decades, winning all high-level tournaments such as Grand Slams, year-end finals and Masters.

On 24 September 2022, the 41-year-old Federer completed his professional curtain call at the Laver Cup, where he and Rafael Nadal lost 2-1 to Sock and Soafe in Men's Doubles.

On November 20, 2024, with Nadal's Spain reaching the quarterfinals of the Davis Cup, he himself officially announced his retirement, and Djokovic is the only one left in the former indestructible men's tennis triumvirate.

Djokovic celebrates his 38th birthday on May 22, 2025, and has been playing tennis for more than 20 years since he turned professional in 2003.

On July 17, 2006, Djokovic won his first career title at the ATP 250 Amosfoort Open in the Netherlands; The following year, he won his first Masters title in Miami; In 2008, at the age of 21, Djokovic won his first Grand Slam title at the Australian Open, the year he had the last laugh at the year-end finals for the first time.

Behind each breakthrough is also a number of legendary records that are unique to Djokovic, including three Grand Slams (at least three in all four Grand Slams), 24 Grand Slam titles, eight year-end world No. 1 titles, and 37 Masters titles......

However, Djokovic's performance this season has not lived up to expectations, he started the 2025 season in Brisbane, after defeating Rinki Hijikata and Monfils in the first two rounds, he was eliminated by American Opelka in the quarterfinals, and then he came to Melbourne Park to participate in the Australian Open, and finally reached the men's singles semifinals, and lost to Germany's Zverev in the semifinals.

After the Australian Open, Djokovic took a nearly month-long break due to injury problems and made a comeback in Doha, where he was eliminated by Berrettini in the first match, moved to Indian Wells, and lost to Van de Shanschamp in the first singles match, suffering a wave of three consecutive singles defeats.

Fortunately, after coming to Miami, Djokovic adjusted his personal state in time, and successively eliminated Koda, Dimitrov and other good players to reach the final, but was defeated by Mensik in two sets in the final and only won the runner-up.

Djokovic entered the clay season with back-to-back defeats in Monte Carlo and Madrid, and it wasn't until this week's ATP 250 Geneva that he won his first clay clay season this year.

Entering a new stage of his life at the age of 38, Djokovic's challenge is not only from his body, but also from the emergence of new forces, hoping that he can play in a healthy state for a few more seasons.(Source: Tennis House Author: Barbie)
