From 25 May to 8 June, the 2025 French Open will be held at Roland Garros, marking the culmination of this year's clay season, from Monte Carlo to Madrid to Rome.
ASICS Tennis Ambassador Novak Djokovic
ASICS tennis ambassador Novak Djokovic is seeding sixth in the men's singles at the French Open, which will be his 21st career appearance at this Grand Slam on clay. The Serbian king was crowned the Musketeers Cup three times here in 2016, 2021 and 2023, and Djokovic advanced to the last 16 of the men's singles after two five-set matches at the French Open last year before exiting the quarter-finals against Ruud due to injury. Two months later, at the Paris Olympics, Djokovic, who returned to Roland Garros, won the men's singles gold medal with a heroic performance, completing the final piece of the puzzle of his career title. Heading into this year's clay season, Djokovic has been slow to show his form, failing to win a single major tournament in Monte Carlo and Madrid. In preparation for the French Open, he signed up for this week's ATP 250 in Geneva and expects him to adjust his form in time for his second Grand Slam tournament of the year.
ASICS Tennis Ambassador Musetti
ASICS tennis ambassador Musetti is seeded No. 8 in men's singles, the Italian star is arguably one of the hottest players in the clay season this year, he has won the runner-up, semi-finals and semi-finals of the three clay masters in Monte Carlo, Madrid and Rome respectively, and the world ranking has broken the TOP10 mark for the first time, adding another top 10 member to the ASICS tennis team, and is undoubtedly one of the most noteworthy players in the men's singles field of this year's French Open.
ASICS Tennis Ambassador De Minauer
ASICS Tennis Ambassador De Minaur is seeded ninth in Men's Singles, while the Australian has also had a strong clay-court season this year, reaching the semi-finals of Monte Carlo before reaching back-to-back last-16 in Madrid and Roma. Although De Minaur is known for his hard courts, his clay skills have improved year by year, and he is slowly developing into a formidable player on clay. De Minaur set a personal best record at last year's French Open, beating Medvedev in the fourth round to reach the quarter-finals of the French Open, can he go one step further this year? Let's wait and see.
ASICS Asics Tennis Ambassador Paulini
ASICS tennis ambassador Paulini is one of the favourites to win the Women's Singles title, while the Italians are among the best on clay. Just last week in Rome, homegrown Paulini was crowned double singles and doubles champion, becoming Italy's first women's singles champion in nearly 40 years, and she also partnered compatriot Errani to defend her women's doubles title. It was here that Paulini reached her first Grand Slam final at the French Open a year ago and has since gone on to rise to the top of women's tennis, and a year later, she returns to the clay-court Grand Slam with the heavyweight title of Roma Champion and is looking to continue her triumph at Roland Garros.
ASICS Tennis Ambassador Bencic
ASICS tennis ambassador Bencic had a stellar season on hard courts at the start of the year, with the Swiss reaching the round of 16 of the Australian Open, entering the second week of his first Grand Slam tournament since his postpartum comeback, before claiming a heavyweight title at the WTA 500 Abu Dhabi and advancing to the quarterfinals at WTA1000 Indian Wells. Bencic also had a strong showing on clay this year, reaching the round of 16 at WTA1000 Madrid. Returning to Roland Garros after a two-year absence, Bencic is looking to finish the clay season strongly.
ASICS Tennis Ambassador Maya
ASICS Tennis Ambassador Maya will compete as the No. 23 seed in the Women's Singles. Looking back at the French Open two years ago, the Brazilian left-hander will reach the semi-finals of a Grand Slam for the first time in the world rankings, and her journey to the top will ever begin. Although Maya had a lackluster season on clay this year, she is back in the hunt for another burst at the Grand Slams.
ASICS Tennis Ambassador Zhang Shuai
ASICS tennis ambassador Zhang Shuai will compete in the third line of the French Open, and she has signed up to compete in the women's singles, women's doubles and mixed doubles events. This is the first time in 13 years that the Chinese star has played in the French Open singles qualifiers, and she advanced to the first round with a quick victory, scoring the first victory of the French Open for the Chinese team. Zhang Shuai's women's doubles partner is this year's Australian Open mixed doubles champion Gaideji, and she is looking forward to China's Jinhua and her new partner making a splash at the French Open.
When the opening bell rings at the 2025 French Open, the entire tennis world will be breathing with bated breath, and Roland Garros will be ready to go, with every grain of clay full of stories, and this summer in Paris is destined to write a bright chapter in the history of tennis.
