Follow Fonseca to follow the ATP Challenger tournament

Tennis fans usually follow the matches of the ATP's highest level of the tour. The Level 1 Challenge is rarely followed and rarely livestreamed.

After losing to 11th seed Paul in the second round of the Madrid Masters, Brazilian teenager Fonseca turned around and went to Portugal to participate in the Challenger.

Estoril Open, a 175 challenger. There aren't a lot of challenges at this level. Challengers at this level are usually scheduled between the two weeks of a Grand Slam or Masters event. For example, this week's Estoril Open, a tournament for players who are out in the first week of the Madrid Masters.

Take a look at the seeded lineup:

No.1 seed Aliassime entered the tournament as a wild card, apparently on the fly-by after Madrid's exit. Fonseca is the lowest of the eight seeded players. This lineup is definitely not inferior to the ATP 250 events on the tour.

There are also well-known players such as Lernaqian and Lajovic in the draw. Fonseca faced Frenkie de Jong of the Netherlands in the first round.

Fonseca also competed in a 175 Challenger, the Phoenix Challenger, after exiting in the first week of the Indian Wells Masters in March, and won the championship with 175 points and $38,420 in prize money.

By the way, there are six of these week's challenges, including two 175 events, one 100 level, two 75 levels and one 50 level. It also includes an event in China, the Guangzhou Nansha International Challenge, a 75-level challenge.
