Two of the world's top tennis players 'become one family'

The tennis world received joyful news as Katie Boulter and Alex de Minaur officially tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony held on the closing day of Wimbledon 2026.

According to British media, the UK's top tennis star and Australia's number one player held their wedding at a church in Leicestershire, near Boulter's hometown. The ceremony was kept private, attended by only a few close family members, before the couple and their guests celebrated with a meal at a local pub.

On their big day, Katie Boulter stood out in a long white wedding dress with an elegant boat neckline, while Alex de Minaur looked dapper in a black suit. The couple arrived at the venue in a black Porsche Carrera driven by "Demon" (de Minaur's nickname).

What made it special was that the wedding took place at the same time as the Wimbledon men's singles final between Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev which was taking place at the All England Club. Just a few days earlier, both Boulter and De Minaur had been competing in the most prestigious grass-court Grand Slam tournament.

De Minaur was eliminated in the fourth round after losing to Flavio Cobolli, while Boulter disappointed by being knocked out in the first round by young player Tyra Caterina Grant.

The ceremony was conducted by a female pastor in a private atmosphere. After the intimate wedding, the couple is reportedly planning to hold a larger party over the weekend, attended by friends, family, and many famous figures from the tennis world.
