Enjoy! Three golden flowers reached the semifinals of the women's doubles in Dubai

The 2025 WTA1000 Dubai season has already reached the semi-finals, and in the Women's Singles, Rybakina became the biggest seed remaining in the draw, and as the No. 6 seed, she defeated former Australian Open champion Kenin in straight sets in the quarter-finals.

This is also the first time in five years that Rybakina has reached the semi-finals in Dubai (the ninth time in her career that she has reached the semi-finals of a WTA1000 tournament)! According to the tournament draw, she will face Milla Andreeva in the semi-finals for a place in the final.

Born in 2007, the young Russian continued last season's hot streak, knocking out Vondrousova and Stearns on the way to qualifying, and easily defeated the tournament's No. 2 seed Swiatek in straight sets in the quarter-finals.

Although Swiatek outscored 18 of her opponents in terms of winning points with 22 in the match, she had 18 more unforced errors, and Swiatek's title drought since Wimbledon last year continued.

The semi-final tie in the top half of the Women's Singles was Tausen vs Mukhova, with Tausen beating Noskova 7-6(4) 6-4 after beating top seed Sabalenka 6-3 6-2 in the previous round.

Mukhova reached the semi-finals of the WTA1000 tournament for the third time in her career with a 6-2 7-5 win over Kostya in the quarter-finals, and as the No. 14 seed, she will defend her seeding in the top half.

In the Women's Doubles, we were delighted to see a number of Chinese Jinhua reach the semi-finals of Women's Doubles in Dubai this year, with Zhang Shuai and old partner Mladenovic beating Panova/Stora 6-2 6-4 in the quarter-finals, after the two pairs met in Doha last week and Zhang Shuai failed to win.

In less than a week, Zhang Shuai/Mladenovic got their revenge against Siniakova/Townsend in the semi-finals, the number one women's doubles pair at this year's Dubai.

In the Women's Doubles at the Australian Open at the end of the year, the two teams met in the quarter-finals, when Siniakova/Townsend won in straight sets 6-1 7-5.

In the bottom half of the Women's Doubles, Xu Yifan/Yang Zhaoxuan edged out Noskova/Putintseva 6-4 3-6 10-8 to secure a place in the semi-finals, where they will face Hsieh/Ostapenko, who also met at this year's Australian Open.

In the second round of the women's doubles of this year's Australian Open, Xie Shuwei/Ostapenko eliminated Xu Yifan/Yang Zhaoxuan 6-4, so the two women's doubles semifinals in Dubai this year are quite difficult for Chinese players.(Source: Tennis House Author: Barbie)
