This title was decided by public voting, and Alcaraz won convincingly with 44.37% of the votes. He surpassed the legend and current MotoGP number one rider - Marc Marquez, who also had an impressive year by winning his ninth world championship riding a Ducati. Although Marquez made a strong impact, Carlitos’s best career season gave him a clear advantage.

In 2025, the player born in El Palmar won two prestigious Grand Slam titles. He successfully defended his Roland Garros championship after a thrilling final against Jannik Sinner, where Alcaraz saved 3 championship points before claiming victory. Not stopping there, he also triumphed at the US Open, confirming his consistency and composure in crucial moments.

These achievements made Alcaraz the youngest player in history to hold multiple Grand Slam titles on all three surfaces.
