"This victory isn't just mine but belongs to both of us. Aryna is an outstanding player and truly challenged me. She proved she can compete fairly,"Kyrgios stated. The 2022 Wimbledon runner-up also admitted he felt great pressure before the match and expressed special fondness for the atmosphere in Dubai.
As for Sabalenka, she said she thoroughly enjoyed the experience. "This was an exciting challenge. I had to constantly adjust my serve and strategy. The indoor atmosphere was fantastic, and I hope the match brought tennis closer to the fans,"the Belarusian player shared.
