Kyrgios easily defeated Sabalenka in the "Battle of the Sexes" match

On Sunday evening (December 28) Vietnam time, the crowd at Coca Cola Arena in Qatar truly erupted as Nick Kyrgios secured victory over Aryna Sabalenka in the exhibition match titled "Battle of the Sexes" (Battle of the Sexes). The event attracted thousands of spectators, creating a rare sports-entertainment night in Dubai.

In the lively and emotional atmosphere, the Australian player demonstrated his skill and composure by defeating Sabalenka – the reigning women's world No. 1 – in straight sets, both 6-3. Although it was only an exhibition, the match was intense, requiring both players to continuously adjust their tactics and mental focus amid the enthusiastic crowd support.

Kyrgios, known for his spontaneous style and exquisite technique, consistently produced entertaining yet precise shots. Meanwhile, Sabalenka showcased power, speed, and resilient fighting spirit, making the match much more balanced and thrilling than initially expected.

As for Sabalenka, she said she thoroughly enjoyed the experience. "This was an exciting challenge. I had to constantly adjust my serve and strategy. The indoor atmosphere was fantastic, and I hope the match brought tennis closer to the fans,"the Belarusian player shared.
