The match is played in a best-of-five sets format, and the teams are currently battling in the first set, with Tianjin Bohai Bank leading Jiangsu Zhongtian Steel 23-20.

Judging from the starting lineups, most star players are absent, and the teams are almost entirely domestic squads.
