Novak Djokovic has been part of legendary tennis matches globally, with two finals certainly etched in the memories of supporters.
Recently, Novak Djokovic shared about the matches where he delivered his finest performances throughout his career spanning over two decades. In an interview on the Hellenic Championship YouTube channel, the Serbian player highlighted two thrilling Grand Slam finals against top opponents and recalled what he considers the peak of his career.
When asked about the best matches he has played, Djokovic did not hesitate to name two classic finals: the longest Grand Slam final in history at the 2012 Australian Open and the 2019 Wimbledon final against Roger Federer, where he triumphed in a decisive tiebreak.
Since turning professional in 2003, Djokovic has participated in 1,396 ATP Tour matches, boasting an impressive record of 1,163 wins and 233 losses, achieving a winning percentage of 83.3%. These figures reinforce his status as one of the greatest male tennis players in history.
Throughout his illustrious career, Djokovic holds numerous remarkable records: 24 Grand Slam titles, 428 weeks ranked world number one, finishing the year as number one eight times, seven ATP Finals championships, and 40 Masters 1000 titles—the most ever. The 38-year-old is also the only man in the Open Era to win each Grand Slam at least three times.
This season, although no longer at his peak, Djokovic still demonstrated his class by consecutively winning at the Geneva Open (Switzerland) and the Hellenic Championship in Greece, thereby raising his total ATP Tour titles to 101.
