Sinner, 24, has not dropped a set in the three round-robin matches and maintained his impressive performance in front of the home crowd in Turin. After an even first set, the Italian broke twice early in the second set and led 4-0, controlling the match without giving his opponent a chance to fight back. Sinner commented, "Firstly, I’m very happy; it’s wonderful to finish the season like this. The match was really challenging, especially at the start of the first set. In the second set, I broke early and raised my level, playing more offensively, which worked well. Reaching the final three years in a row is very meaningful to me. This is a fantastic atmosphere to compete in and a great way to close the season. Tomorrow, I will enjoy the match and try to deliver my best."
Meanwhile, world No.1 Carlos Alcaraz faced little difficulty against Auger-Aliassime. He quickly earned an early break to take the first set 6-2, then pressured his opponent into errors during key games of the second set, sealing a 6-2, 6-4 win in under 90 minutes. Alcaraz has already secured his No.1 ranking and now targets his first title at this significant event. The Spanish star expressed enthusiasm about facing Sinner: "It’s great to face Jannik. I will need to be fully focused and execute ‘Plan A’ if I want to defeat him and win the title. I believe both players will lift their level to the highest, which is fantastic for the audience and fans."
