Aliassime stages a comeback to reach the ATP Finals semifinals, set to face Alcaraz

Zverev, who won this tournament in 2021, struggled visibly, frequently signaling to his team and showing frustration; meanwhile, Aliassime squandered multiple break chances on return, missing three break points at one stage. At the critical moment, he maintained composure and demonstrated exceptional steadiness in the tiebreak, taking advantage of Zverev’s consecutive errors to secure two mini-breaks while leading 5-4, ultimately clinching victory after two hours and seven minutes of intense battle.
