Cincinnati, Doha, and Bastad honored as the best ATP tournaments of 2025

The ATP1000 Cincinnati Masters, ATP500 Doha event, and ATP250 Bastad tournament were jointly awarded the "Tournament of the Year" honors in their respective categories at the 2025 ATP Annual Awards.

Alcaraz triumphed as the champion of this year's Cincinnati Masters

After completing a $260 million upgrade to the Lindner Family Tennis Center, Cincinnati earned the ATP1000 Masters Tournament of the Year award for the first time. This year's Cincinnati Open expanded its schedule and draws for the first time—singles and doubles draws increased to 96 and 32 respectively, with the event lasting 12 days. Alcaraz secured the men's singles title at the Cincinnati Masters, while the team of Ram and Mektić won the doubles championship.

Doha, previously a six-time recipient of the ATP250 Tournament of the Year, was promoted to ATP500 this year by enhancing event organization, player services, and hospitality standards, earning the Tournament of the Year award.

Rublev captured the singles title at this year's Doha event

The upgraded Doha tournament in February attracted top players including Alcaraz and Djokovic. Ultimately, Rublev defeated Draper to win the men's singles title, while Kach and Graspur secured the doubles championship.

Bastad, which was named ATP250 Tournament of the Year for eleven consecutive years from 2002 to 2012, has claimed the title twice in the last three seasons. Italian player Darderi won the singles crown this year, while the top-seeded doubles team Andreaoci and Arends took the doubles title.

Besides the Tournament of the Year awards, seven other events were recognized with the "Excellence Standard Award" for outstanding performance in player surveys.
