The prime years witnessed the greatest achievements: Djokovic’s main accomplishments during his collaboration with Becker

Djokovic’s collaboration with former coach Becker started in 2013 and ended in 2016, a period that made a profound impact in tennis history.

In October 2013, Becker was unexpectedly contacted by Djokovic’s agent with an offer to coach Djokovic. At that time, Becker had retired and had no prior coaching experience, and their personalities were quite different, but Djokovic needed Becker to bring a fresh perspective to help him become more competitive in Grand Slam tournaments.

During their three-year partnership, Djokovic achieved remarkable success, winning six Grand Slam titles, completing a career Grand Slam, and capturing four consecutive major titles. Becker, who came from the serve-and-volley era, contributed significantly with his expertise in net play and serving, which greatly enhanced Djokovic’s technical skills at the net.

From 2013 to 2016, Djokovic and Becker worked together, during which Djokovic achieved outstanding results, detailed as follows:

- 2014: 7 titles

- Grand Slam tournaments: Lost to Nadal in the French Open final; defeated Federer in the Wimbledon final to claim the title.

- Masters tournaments: Won Indian Wells Masters by beating Federer in the final; won Miami Masters defeating Nadal; claimed Rome Masters title over Nadal; won Paris Masters final against Raonic.
