Novak Djokovic has officially confirmed his attendance at the 2025 ATP Finals in Turin, as verified by Angelo Binaghi, President of the Italian Tennis Federation, putting to rest any doubts about the 24-time Grand Slam winner withdrawing from the season-ending event.
Djokovic, currently ranked 5th in the world, missed the ATP Finals last year due to injury. This year, he also skipped the Paris Masters and has been inactive since losing to qualifier Valentin Vacherot in the Shanghai Masters semifinals last month. "We have confirmation that Djokovic will compete in Turin," Binaghi stated on Italy’s Rai Gr Parlamento radio on Monday.
The 2025 ATP Finals, scheduled from November 9 to 16, bring together the top 8 players worldwide. Djokovic has won this tournament seven times, a historical record, with his latest title in 2023. Meanwhile, the defending champion is Jannik Sinner, who defeated Taylor Fritz 6-4, 6-4 in last year’s final. Sinner recently reclaimed the world No. 1 ranking after his Paris Masters victory.

The involvement of the 38-year-old Serbian player means there is only one remaining spot to be decided. The contest is currently between Italian Lorenzo Musetti (ranked 9th with 3,685 points) and Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime (ranked 8th with 3,845 points).
Auger-Aliassime, who just reached the Paris Masters final last week, withdrew from the Moselle Open in Metz on Monday. This creates a major chance for Musetti, who will claim the final spot for Turin if he wins the ATP 250 Athens tournament this week.
