Mboko
On November 2nd Beijing time, the 2025 WTA250 Hong Kong event wrapped up. The third seed Mboko triumphed over Buksha with a score of 7-5, 6-7(9), 6-2, winning her second tour-level championship after her win in Montreal earlier this year.
"I didn’t start very well, but I have to admit she played an outstanding and intense match, which made it hard for me to find my rhythm. I just kept telling myself, ‘She’s playing really well, so I just want to stay in the rally as much as possible and find a way.’ Gradually, that gave me more confidence in my game, and by the end, I became braver and was able to take more risks with my shots," Mboko said after the match. She will break into the Top 20 in the latest world rankings.
