The Badminton Championship kicks off tomorrow (August 25, 2025), featuring five matches with Shi Yuqi, Chen Yufei, and other Chinese players, broadcast live on CCTV.

On court number two, China will compete in four matches, as shown in the image below.

1. The first match is scheduled for 3 PM tomorrow afternoon: Li Shifeng versus Tanaka Yushi.
2. The second match will take place at 5:30 PM tomorrow afternoon: Lu Guangzu against Zheng Jia Heng.
3. The third match is set for 6:20 PM tomorrow evening: Chen Yufei versus Taranova.
4. The fourth match will be at 8 PM tomorrow evening: Shi Yuqi versus Lakshya.

On court number three, China will participate in one match, as detailed in the image below.

1. At 4 PM tomorrow afternoon: Weng Hongyang versus Yu Yabei.

1. Since this is the World Championship with a 64-player draw for singles, China’s first-round opponents are generally not very strong.
