2025 US Open Chinese Draw: Six Chinese Players Directly Qualified for Main Draw, Serena Williams Faces Muchova

In the early hours of August 22 Beijing time, the main draws for men’s and women’s singles at the 2025 US Open were revealed. Defending champions Sinner and Sabalenka top the seedings for men’s and women’s singles respectively, while previous champions such as Djokovic, Alcaraz, Swiatek, Gauff, and Raducanu are all participating.

Regarding the Chinese players, Wang Xinyu, Yuan Yue, Wang Yafan, Zhu Lin, Bu Yunchaokete, and Shang Juncheng have directly qualified for the main draw. On the women’s side, Wang Xinyu will face Dollhead in the first round, with a potential second-round match against 13th seed Aleksandrova; Yuan Yue will take on 17th seed Samsonova; Wang Yafan aims to challenge 10th seed Navarro; Zhu Lin will play Potapova, with a possible second-round clash against 5th seed Mira Andrejeva.

In the men’s singles, Bu Yunchaokete will meet Ruyae in the first round, with a potential second-round match against 27th seed Shapovalov; Shang Juncheng will face Berrettini in the opening round, with a possible second-round encounter against 2nd seed Alcaraz.
