With home-field advantage, Thai football club BG Pathum United is confident they can make things tough for CAHN, who are currently runners-up of the Shopee Cup, Southeast Asia’s Champions League 2025/26.
At the pre-match press conference, BG Pathum United head coach Surachai Jaturapattarapong said: "Cong An Ha Noi is a class team; last season they reached the final. We also need to check the condition of several players to see who can play."
BG Pathum United’s objective is to reach the final. For this opening game, we will prepare as meticulously as possible to advance, as this season we are also participating in the ACL and Thai League, so we must carefully plan for each match."
