Yamal sets three goals in pursuit of the Ballon d'Or

According to Mundo Deportivo, the young talent Lamine Yamal has outlined three specific goals to capture the Ballon d'Or.

Specifically, the Spanish player aims to score more goals, take more free kicks andtake on penalty duties. These are considered key priorities for an attacking player and will help the 2007-born footballer stand out to both experts and fans.

In the past two years, Yamal has not often been chosen to take set-pieces. Penalty responsibilities have typically gone to Robert Lewandowski, who is seen as a specialist from the spot. Meanwhile, free kicks are rotated depending on the angle, with Raphinha or Lewandowski usually stepping up.

However, this could change next season, especially now that Yamal has inherited the number 10 shirt at Barcelona and is eager to shine in the race for the Ballon d'Or.

In fact, Yamal is currently one of the top two contenders for the 2025 Ballon d'Or. He has become an irreplaceable figure in Barcelona's lineup, contributing 21 goals and 26 assists in 55 appearances, helping the Catalan side surpass their main rivals to secure a domestic treble.
