Rashford speaks out about Yamal’s chances of winning the Ballon d'Or

In his first exclusive interview with the Spanish press, specifically SPORT and El Periodico, striker Marcus Rashford offered high praise for his young teammate Lamine Yamal, describing the 18-year-old star as “the greatest talent” he has had the opportunity to play with.

“As a person, Lamine is still just an 18-year-old guy, always cheerful, smiling, and joking with everyone. But as a footballer, he is truly exceptional.

What surprises me most is how mature he is for his age. The way he thinks and plays is far beyond what you’d expect from a young player. Absolutely, that’s the case. If he doesn’t win the Ballon d'Or this year, he will in the future. I’m certain Lamine can achieve it,” Rashford shared.
