On August 16, 2025, the eighth competition day of the Chengdu Universiade concluded yesterday, with 15 gold medals awarded. The Chinese team continued its gold medal pursuit, earning 2 golds in a single day. Currently, we dominate the latest medal table with 27 golds, significantly ahead of the competition, leading Germany by 12 golds. Ukraine added 1 gold on the day, bringing its total to 15, tying with Germany for third place!
