The nominees for the 2025 Ballon d'Or have been revealed, along with the candidates for the Yashin Trophy for the season's best goalkeeper, the Kopa Trophy for the world's best young player, and the related awards for coaches and women.

The prestigious Ballon d'Or award is often seen as the standard prize for the best male player globally. It is voted on by an international panel of journalists, with one representative from each country, based on the top 100 in the latest FIFA Men's World Ranking.

The timeframe considered for the awards listed below spans from August 1, 2024, to July 31, 2025. The ceremony to announce the winners is scheduled for September 22.
