Fourth division Gondomar SC have featured images of Liverpool and Portugal forward Jota and his brother Silva, who played for the Portuguese team Panafiel, on the front of their jerseys.
The upper back of the jerseys displays the names of the two players beneath an infinity symbol.
"More than just a jersey, an eternal tribute," Gondomar SC, competing in the Campeonato de Portugal, stated in a social media announcement. "Because football transcends victories and goals; it embodies legacy, family, and love for our homeland.
"Our new jersey showcases the remarkable image of Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva, two sons of Gondomar who left us too early, yet will forever remain in the history of our club and our football.
"Every time our players wear this jersey, it's as if they are stepping onto the field with them."
Liverpool revealed last month that their players will sport a "Forever 20" emblem on their shirts and stadium jackets this Premier League season.
Following discussions with Jota's family, his number 20 jersey will be retired at all levels of the Anfield club, including the women's and academy teams.
Jota and Silva were raised in Gondomar, a town located on the outskirts of Porto.
