Rodrigo is trapped at Real Madrid; he can only transfer if a €100 million offer is met and he requests to leave.

Rodrigo, one of Real Madrid's Brazilian stars, is 24 years old, which is the prime age for a forward. Following a disappointing season, Rodrigo has fallen out of the €100 million club, with his valuation decreasing from €100 million to €90 million, although this still carries significant exaggeration. With Ancelotti's departure and the arrival of new coach Alonso, along with the impressive performance of youth forward Gonzalo García in the 2025 Club World Cup, Rodrigo's situation at Real Madrid has become very challenging. The Brazilian winger is no longer part of Alonso's plans, and to get playing time, a transfer is his only option.

According to Spanish media outlet Cadena COPE, Rodrigo can only leave this summer transfer window if two conditions are met:

  • First: A team must offer €100 million.
  • Second: The player needs to submit a transfer request and be resolute about it.

Rodrigo has three years left on his contract with Real Madrid and has faced a five-month goal drought. His scoring efficiency has been inconsistent, both at club level and with the Brazilian national team. Lacking absolute speed and physicality, he relies on technical skills and small combinations, reminiscent of James Rodríguez's style. Bayern is determined to sign Díaz, and the Premier League's big six are skeptical about Rodrigo's adaptability to the English league. Therefore, if Real Madrid insists on a €100 million price tag, there will be little interest. As things stand, Rodrigo is likely to be stuck at Real Madrid, unable to play or secure a transfer.
