Paris, the treble winner, has reached a personal agreement with Chevalier to replace Donnarumma.

Every team faces challenges with updates and player departures. Paris, the treble winner of last season, clinched the Champions League, Ligue 1, and the Coupe de France, while finishing as runners-up in the Club World Cup. Donnarumma, the main goalkeeper for Paris, has played a crucial role, but this Italian keeper has only one year left on his contract, and a renewal has yet to be finalized. Paris cannot allow Donnarumma to leave for free next summer, so they must either renew his contract or sell him this summer. Paris has already found a replacement for Donnarumma: Lille's main goalkeeper, Chevalier.

According to Italian transfer expert Romano, Paris is interested in Lille's 23-year-old French goalkeeper Chevalier, viewing him as a replacement for Donnarumma, and has reached a personal agreement with Chevalier.

As reported by L'Équipe, Paris is currently negotiating the transfer fee for Chevalier with Lille, who have set a price of €40 million. The player's market value is €30 million, which is considered a reasonable asking price. Paris has still not finalized a contract renewal with Donnarumma, who is now in the final year of his contract.

Chevalier is 23 years old, stands 1.89 meters tall, and is a right-footed goalkeeper. Last season, he made 48 appearances for Lille across all competitions, achieving 13 clean sheets, with a total of 53 goals conceded, averaging 1.1 goals per match.
