In the Premier League, it's all about buying, with mid- to lower-tier teams making deals worth tens of millions of pounds. Nowadays, in Serie A, any signing over €35 million is considered a major acquisition.
According to an exclusive report by journalist Sebastiano Sarno, AC Milan has finally secured the 22-year-old Swiss midfielder Jashari, with the total fee for his transfer from Brugge nearing €40 million, including a fixed fee of €35 million plus performance-related bonuses. This deal is close to completion, with a signing expected this weekend, followed by an official announcement.

Jashari came through the youth academy of Lucerne and joined Brugge for a transfer fee of €6 million in the summer window of 2024, becoming a key player in their midfield.

At 22 years old, Jashari stands 1.81 meters tall and is a left-footed player primarily playing as a defensive midfielder. He has a contract with Brugge until 2029, with a market value of €32 million. Last season, he made 52 appearances for Brugge across all competitions, starting 46 times, totaling 4,132 minutes on the pitch, contributing 4 goals and 6 assists.
Milan's signing of Jashari is in place of Reinders, who was sold to Manchester City for €55 million (excluding bonuses). This acquisition is crucial for Milan, as Jashari has expressed a strong desire to join the club, and hopefully, this will be a win-win transaction.
