At my age, I feel like I need to pass on what I've seen and what I've experienced, whether it's my experience as a player or a coach, to these kids. From my point of view, when we look at the world, we still have to emphasize qualitative. The so-called qualitative means to think repeatedly and not follow the trend. In the past, we had players who were fast, who were technically good, who had good brains, and even who were tall, and these were all players with characteristics. The pressure is different. The pressure now may lie in the yield in the future. We have such a good platform as Tongji, and we also have such experienced coaches, I believe that there can be talents, but how many top talents can play for the national team is where my pressure lies.

◆Many parents of children now see football as a way to go to school, or even a shortcut.
