Rashford has signed with Barcelona, and photos of the new jersey have been revealed as he prepares to face Lin Huang! This could affect Sancho's transfer to Juventus.

According to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United winger Rashford has officially signed with Barcelona. For the upcoming season, he will be loaned to the La Liga champions, with Barcelona covering his entire salary and having the option to buy him for €30 million next June.

British media disclosed that Rashford flew to Barcelona on Sunday, had his medical examination on Monday, appeared at the training ground on Tuesday, and is expected to have the loan deal officially confirmed on Wednesday. Barcelona bloggers shared several photos on social media; although the angles are distant and blurry, Manchester United fans can easily recognize Rashford donning the Barcelona jersey.

The 27-year-old English winger becomes the first English player at Barcelona since Gary Lineker in 1986. Former Manchester United number 10, Mark Hughes, also played for Barcelona; he is a Welsh international.

Of course, Barcelona continues to face player registration issues. Even if Rashford completes the transfer paperwork, he will not be able to represent the team in official matches. Sky Sports reports that Barcelona is currently unable to register Rashford for La Liga, as they need to sell players to create space. "talkSPORT" also revealed that financial constraints may delay or even prevent Rashford's official registration to play.

La Liga president Javier Tebas stated that it is Barcelona's financial issues that hindered the transfer of Nico Williams, who subsequently signed a new contract with Athletic Bilbao. Ironically, after missing out on Williams and being unable to sign Liverpool's Luis Diaz, Barcelona chose to sign Rashford.

Rashford now hopes everything goes smoothly so he can register quickly and take to the La Liga pitch. He aims to persuade Tuchel to allow him back into the England national team for next year's World Cup. The young star's agent team is confident, as Barcelona has successfully registered every new signing in the past.

Barcelona fans enthusiastically welcomed Rashford's arrival, painting a mural of him on the streets of Catalonia. The mural depicts Rashford celebrating on his knees in the Barcelona number 19 jersey, making his iconic gesture pointing to his temple. Next to Rashford's image, the Spanish text reads: Welcome aboard!

Although he cannot register for now, Rashford is free to participate in Barcelona's warm-up matches. It is reported that he can play in the friendly against J-League powerhouse Vissel Kobe on July 27, and even more intriguingly, he might face another Manchester United youth player, Lingard, in the match against K-League's FC Seoul on July 31, dubbed the "Star Battle"!

The 32-year-old Lingard has been playing in South Korea since early 2024, making 49 appearances for Seoul, scoring 12 goals, and providing 6 assists. Rashford and Lingard played together at Manchester United from 2016 to 2022, appearing together 134 times, and they also represented England together 18 times.

Italian expert Di Marzio revealed that Rashford's move to Barcelona could impact teammate Sancho's transfer. Juventus is currently a leading contender to sign the 25-year-old English winger, but two major obstacles still exist.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus is seeking to expedite Sancho's transfer process, having reached a principle agreement with Manchester United worth £15 million. Tuttosport stated that Juventus only needs to sell Samuel Mbangula and Timothy Weah to sign Sancho. Both players are set to transfer, joining Werder Bremen and Marseille respectively, with Juventus expected to gain approximately £24.2 million from these deals.

With this money and team space, Juventus director Damiano Comolli plans to bring in Sancho when players return for preseason training on July 24. However, they also want to explore the possibility of a loan-to-buy deal, similar to how Barcelona acquired Rashford, although Manchester United is unlikely to agree. The Red Devils need to secure some transfer fees immediately to fund Amorim's acquisition of a new striker.

Di Marzio explained: "Juventus remains interested in Sancho, but the deal is currently on hold. The club is not in a hurry to finalize the transaction, having just spent a lot on signing small Consesao." Transfer authority David Ornstein from The Athletic also stated that the claim of Sancho joining Juventus is not accurate. However, he could indeed move to Serie A, as Napoli might also be interested in him.

Bored Sancho engaged in some self-talk on social media this week, encouraging himself to ignore the critics and prove he is the best. However, fans mocked him for seemingly forgetting to switch to a "burner account" to voice his thoughts.
