Calhanoglu advocating for Galatasaray transfer
Until a few weeks back, Hakan Calhanoglu was considering a move to Galatasaray but had not shown a strong desire to depart Inter, where he felt at ease. However, circumstances have shifted rapidly: following a heated exchange with Lautaro Martinez and the president of Inter after the team's CWC elimination against Fluminense, Calhanoglu is now advocating for the transfer.
The Turkish midfielder has already approved a potential three-year contract with Galatasaray and hopes that both clubs can soon reach an agreement. The main challenge remains the transfer fee. While Inter has reduced their initial asking price from €45m to approximately €30m following recent tensions in the dressing room, Galatasaray is still far from meeting that amount.
The Turkish club has proposed around €15m and does not intend to significantly increase that offer - currently believing that this price, with a few million more added, is the appropriate valuation for the player. Despite interest from several top European clubs, Calhanoglu has made it clear that his priority is returning to Turkey.
He has declined other offers out of respect and admiration for Galatasaray, the club he supported during his childhood. Negotiations are ongoing, and the midfielder's strong desire is also instrumental in bringing the two parties closer to an agreement.
Juventus prepared to sell Vlahovic at a reduced price
Juventus is willing to sell Dusan Vlahovic for as low as €15m - half of the original asking price of €30m - to avoid losing him for free next year and to eliminate his high salary from their payroll. The club's priority is to create budget space and prevent a scenario where Vlahovic departs as a free agent in 2026. A sale now would also assist Juventus in focusing their efforts on retaining PSG’s Randal Kolo Muani, who remains a significant target for the club.
In recent weeks, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa have expressed interest in the Serbian striker, as previously reported. However, no substantial progress has followed those initial contacts. Vlahovic is still awaiting a move to a top Premier League club, taking his time before making a decision.
However, none of the clubs currently exploring the possibility of signing him - particularly in Italy - are prepared to meet his high salary expectations. Conversely, his salary could be accommodated in Saudi Arabia: attention should be paid toAl Hilal, who have included him in their shortlist.
Juventus understands that time is not on their side and are striving to find a solution soon. A discounted transfer could be crucial in facilitating new moves from other teams interested.
Suaibo Jassi is drawing interest from Premier League clubs
Suaibo Jassi, who will turn 19 on July 10th, 2025, has just completed a transfer to CD Santa Clara from Alverca only one week ago. The young right-back signed a three-year deal until 2028, but his future is already a hot topic in scouting circles across Europe. The Guinea-Bissau defender has quickly attracted the attention of major clubs.
Portuguese giantsBenfica and Sporting have been closely monitoring Jassi since last season and continue to track his development, even if from afar. However, it is two English clubs - Brentford and Leeds - that have recently taken concrete steps to gather more information about the promising right-back.
Both clubs are impressed by his potential and view him as a future top player, thanks to his strong performances in the Portuguese youth leagues. Jassi’s current aim is to debut in the Portuguese Liga with Santa Clara, working diligently to advance through the team’s ranks and earn playing time in the first squad.
Still, Brentford and Leeds are keeping a close watch, and it wouldn’t be surprising if one of them makes a move in the coming months to bring him to the Premier League.
AC Milan continues to pursue Jashari
Ardon Jashari has made his intentions clear: as long as discussions between AC Milan and Club Brugge continue, he will not consider any other offers, even if they are financially superior. The Swiss midfielder has already reached personal agreements with the Rossoneri and is entirely focused on joining the Italian club. AC Milan remains confident that their latest proposal, worth over €35m including bonuses, with some adjustments during negotiations, can persuade Club Brugge to agree.
However, the Belgian club is still requesting a deal structured as €35 million plus add-ons, with around €3 million still separating the two sides on the fixed fee. The gap is now narrow, and both clubs are expected to continue discussions in the coming days. Minor adjustments in the fixed amount and performance-related bonuses will likely be crucial to reaching a final agreement.
Jashari is viewed as Milan’s top target to strengthen the midfield, following the complicated pursuits of Luka Modric and Samuele Ricci. The Rossoneri see the Swiss midfielder as a long-term investment and are hopeful that they can finalize the deal soon. The player’s full commitment to Milan is instilling confidence in the Italian side regarding the completion of the transfer.
Liverpool clarifies they won’t exceed £40/45m for Guehi
Liverpool is working to acquire Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace, but the two clubs have yet to agree on the transfer fee. The Reds are prepared to offer a total package of up to £40/45m including bonuses, and they do not plan to exceed that amount. Crystal Palace, after initially showing some willingness to accept that valuation in early discussions, has slightly raised their demands, hoping to secure a bit more from the deal.
Despite this, Liverpool is remaining firm. They believe their budget is reasonable and are leveraging the player’s strong desire to join in the negotiations. With the player, Liverpool has now settled personal terms based on a five-year contract with an option for an additional year for the Reds to extend the agreement. The England centre-back, for his part, has made it clear that he only wishes to join Liverpool and is not considering other alternatives.
Discussions between the clubs are still ongoing, and Liverpool hopes to close the gap soon. However, they remain adamant: £45m is the maximum they will pay to bring the Palace defender to Anfield this summer.
