Dzhekereish only used Manchester United as a spare tire, and Amorim turned to the Bundesliga centre-forward! Mbemo B plan exposed

Djekereish's transfer drama took another turn over the weekend, with Ruben Amorim reportedly calling Ruben Amorim to hint he would not join the Red Devils after his success with Manchester United's 'price increase'. Previously, Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano disclosed that Manchester United contacted the agents of Sporting and Dzekereish every day to learn about his transfer movements, only to find out that he was just a "spare tire" for the other party.

According to Portuguese newspaper Record, Manchester United approached Djekereish and Sporting de Portugal this week, but their efforts were not recognised. Financial problems, missing out on European competitions and years of reputation as a "spherical black hole" have made Dzhekeraish reluctant to join his former mentor Amorim.

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano explained: "Djekereish did not say no to Manchester United directly or let his agent reject Manchester United outright. He just prioritised Arsenal and whenever Arsenal made a bid, he preferred to move them."

The British newspaper The Times has also confirmed that after speaking with Arteta, Djekereish would prefer to join Arsenal. Ironically, the Gunners, like him, are also considering RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sheshko and have not made a final decision.

But what is certain is that Djekereish now wants to join Arsenal, whose £55million offer has already been rejected by Portugal, but they are ready for a second offer.

Djekeresh's agent has recently been at war with the club, and it is said that when he joined from Coventry City in 2023, it was agreed that if Portugal rejected an offer of more than £51 million, agent Hassan Settingkaya would receive 10% of the subsequent transfer deal as compensation.

However, Portuguese media said that Dzhekeraiche's agent denied that he had written evidence that the club's hierarchy had agreed to allow him to transfer for £59 million. There is a €100 million liquidated damages clause in Jekereish's contract, and the Portuguese have publicly stated that they will not ask for the full release fee, but they are said to want €80 million.

According to the British newspaper Daily Mirror, after learning of Djekereish's decision, Manchester United have begun to look for alternative targets and are ready to seek the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike in the Bundesliga. The 22-year-old French striker is also a rumoured target for Liverpool, having scored 22 goals last season.

However, bringing in Ekitike will not be easy, as Eintracht Frankfurt have set a price tag of £80 million for him, and United will not make a move if the price is not lowered. But Eintracht Frankfurt's sporting director Marcus Kroscher insisted: "If the price is not right, he will stay with us and we don't have to sell Hugo [Ekitike]."

Manchester United's other centre-forward candidates include Crystal Palace's Jean-Philippe Mateta and Ligue 1's Jonathan Davy. However, the British media also revealed that Manchester United's top management is hinting to Amorim that if a suitable striker cannot be bought, Zirkze may be able to play better with Cunha's arrival, and some even think that Hojlund can also be a good goalscorer in a better system...... In other words: the most battled!

In addition to Dzekereish, Manchester United's deal to bring in Brentford winger Mbeumo also has a "triangle". Tottenham have also joined the fray after hiring Thomas Frank as the manager, with the Danish coach working with 25-year-old Mbeumo for six years and a close relationship between the two.

According to ESPN, United are still confident of acquiring Mbeumo, but if they can't get him, Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo and Crystal Palace's Eze will be the two options for 'Plan B'.

The 26-year-old British phenom Eze helped Crystal Palace win the FA Cup, with the team offering him a price tag of £65 million. The 25-year-old Ghana international has a higher price tag, with the 'Cherries' asking for £70 million. It is foreseeable that the transfer of the two will not be simple.

'Spotted for offside' is also rumoured to be Manchester United are also eyeing Semenyo's team-mate Justin Kluivert, with the 26-year-old Dutch winger offering a lower price tag of €50 million to €55 million. The story of the Red Devils and Kluivert Jr. began back in 2017, when then-boss Jose Mourinho had a lively conversation with Ajax after the Europa League final. After years of hard work, Kluivert Jr. has been in excellent form this season, scoring 12 goals in the Premier League, and Ten Hag is also looking to bring him in for Bayer Leverkusen to replace Wirtz.
