According to the Fichajes transfer network, Manchester United have received a huge offer for Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho, and Napoli are interested in paying 80 million euros (66.9 million pounds) for a high price. Antonio Conte is looking for a replacement for Kvaratskja, who moved to Paris Saint-Germain in the winter window, and has his eye on Garnacho.
The 20-year-old has been the subject of frequent transfer rumours of late, with Chelsea signalling an interest in signing him in January, but no agreement was reached. The fact that the Argentina international is in the team does not mean that his long-term future belongs to Old Trafford. As Garnacho already has an Academy player, having joined United in 2020 for four years, his transfer fee will be treated as pure profit.
Manchester United are looking to make up for the past when they sold Elanga for just £15 million, with the 22-year-old Swedish Clipper scoring the winning goal in a 1-0 win over the Red Devils at Nottingham Forest on Tuesday, in part of Garnacho.
Selling players has always been a shortcoming for Manchester United, and Beckham, who moved to Real Madrid in 2003, is still the fourth-highest price seller in team history, which speaks for itself. Setting a reasonable price when selling players is obviously of great benefit to the club. Elanga only charges £15 million, but wants to sell Garnacho for £80 million, this kind of arbitrary pricing will only make Manchester United a laughing stock.
If Napoli do offer €80 million for Garnacho, Sir Jim Ratcliffe may accept it, as this is already an ideal price for Manchester United, and even a bit too high. In the defeat to Forest, Garnacho had six shots, none of which were on target, none of his seven crosses found a team-mate, and he was shown a yellow card for kicking the ball away for offside.
Lajue is looking to open Old Trafford in the summer transfer window, with more than 10 players looking to sell or terminate contracts. Casemiro (£350,000 a week), Marcus Rashford (£325,000 a week), Jadon Sancho (£250,000 a week), Antony (£200,000 a week), Christian Eriksen (£150,000 a week), Victor Lindelof (£120,000 a week), Hojlund (£85,000 a week), Evans (£85,000 a week) and Tom Heaton (£45,000 a week) could all leave.
The Manchester United owner wants to earn hundreds of millions in transfer fees while freeing up £80 million a year in wage space. Garnacho and academy teammate Kobe Mayno are also players who could be sold. While their weekly salaries are less than as high at £50,000 and £20,000 respectively, the fact that they can bring in a net income has helped to alleviate the financial pressure on the team considerably.
ACCORDING TO GIVEMESPORT, SOURCES HAVE CONFIRMED THAT MANCHESTER UNITED ARE WILLING TO SELL GARNACHO AT THE RIGHT PRICE IN THE SUMMER WINDOW. The recent increase in his playing time does not mean that he has cemented his place in Amorim's plans, but rather that the striker is unavailable. The Red Devils currently have only four strikers, Garnacho, Zirkze, Hojlund and Amad Diallo, of which Ahmad is also out due to a serious injury, and Amorim has no one else available.
If Garnacho leaves Old Trafford in the coming months, United would prefer to settle a cash deal rather than a direct player exchange, as the latter would not be much good for the finances.
Napoli, one of the most competitive teams in Serie A in recent years, could sell Osimhen this summer, so Conte is looking for another Manchester United player who already has two veterans in his squad, Scott McTominay and Romelu Lukaku, both of whom have been in excellent form this season. Naples is also a paradise for Argentine players, where Maradona is like God.
