Manchester United vs. Manchester City squad announced, Maguire is back injured and absent! Ten Hag officially announced his debut

Manchester United travelled south from Manchester to London on Friday by train from Stockport Station in preparation for a match against Manchester City for the Community Shield at Wembley on Saturday. Centre-backs Harry · Harry are back in the squad, but Luke · Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof, who are also injury concerns, are not in the squad.

The 31-year-old was not involved in United's warm-up game against Liverpool last week when he was injured and was exempted from the game as a precautionary measure. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof competed but were injured in the game. Luke · Shaw, who only returned from his European Championship holiday this week, appears to be uninjured, but his "glass man" physique has made the club cautious and observed his fitness and decided that he was not fit to compete.

17-year-old England left-back Harry · Armas will have a good chance of starting the game, having started all three warm-up games on his trip to the United States. Lisandro· Martinez and Diogu · Darlow also returned this week, but unlike "British Carlos", both of them went directly into the squad and basically locked up the starting line-up.

Manchester United's €62 million new signing Lenny · Yoro suffered a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his left foot and was sidelined for three months after surgery, while long-term injured Malacia was also unable to play, so the defence was weak. Lima are expected to partner Harry Maguire at centre-back, with Darlow on the right and Armas making his debut at left wing-back, with only veteran Evans on the bench.

Up front, United will be without centre-forward Hojlund, who has been out for six weeks, and new €42.5 million striker Joshua · Zirkze will make his debut, and Ten Hag will need to decide whether to let him play directly or continue with Sancho's warm-up tactics of playing a false nine.

Ahead of the game, Ten Hag made it clear that Zilkze would be in action, but did not confirm whether he would start. "Yes, I think he can participate." Ten Hag told MUTV, Manchester United's official broadcaster: "He's eager to do it, he's looking forward to it, he's excited to be in the Premier League. It's his first time at Wembley since coming to Manchester United and that will naturally motivate him a lot, for sure. But he also lacked training, he took a few weeks off and then just trained alone. But now he's been training with the whole team for a few days."

Manchester United may have chosen to take a ride in the hope of being as lucky as the FA Cup final two months ago, when Ten Hag won the title with an upset win over Manchester City and retained his position in the squad, while the team travelled by train.

On whether City can beat Pep Guardiola again, Ten Hag said: "We have to stick together, we have to fight for each other. That's the mentality needed on Saturday and of course the team needs a very good game plan because the opponent is a very good team. They're very technical and we have to be ready for it, it's a big challenge. It's the first time the two teams have met this season and you'll only have a few days to prepare. We're looking forward to it, everybody is excited, there's always a good vibe at Wembley. Also, we have good memories and that definitely encourages the players."

The United Kingdom newspaper The Sun revealed that Manchester United's shirt for this game will have a historic change, and the back will appear advertising for the first time. Previously, the Red Devils experimented in the warm-up game in the United States, with the logo of sponsor Qualcomm Snapdragon printed on the back. Behind the Community Shield shirt will be Microsoft's AI laptop CoPilot+.

Manchester United's 22-man squad for Community Shield against Manchester City: Andre Onana· Altay· Baindil, Tom · Heaton; Darlow, Maguire, Evans, Lima, Amas; Casemiro, Mason· Mount, Toby· Collier, Eriksen, McTominay, Kobe· Meno, Bruno· Fernandez; Rashford, Sancho, Zirkze, Amad · Diallo, Antony, Garnacho, Perlistri.
