Rajue insists Manchester United can win the Premier League in 2028! He supported Amorim and angrily denounced the uselessness of high-paid players

Manchester United boss Sir Jim Ratcliffe recently spoke to the British media in which he strongly supported current manager Ruben Amorim and believes he has done a very good job in charge. Rajue is also confident that his reforms can succeed and the Red Devils can win the Premier League in 2028 on the 150th anniversary of the club's founding.

Amorim has won just five of his 17 Premier League games, but Rajue believes this is due to the lack of rice for a good woman. 'If you look at the squad that Ruben [Amorim] can actually choose from, I honestly think he's done really well." "I think Ruben is a great young coach, I really think so. He's a great coach and I think he's going to be in the position for a long time. You're starting to see the potential of Ruben and you can see it against Arsenal, how many players did you recognise on the bench? How many have ever worn a Manchester United first-team shirt? Because there is no one to use now, we have only the last 10 or 11 healthy first team players left in our squad. Reuben did really well."

The players on the bench for Manchester United's 1-1 Arsenal clash were: Hojlund, Cheedo Obi, Toby Collier, Eden Haven, Harry Armas, Jack Fletcher, Jack Moore House and two goalkeepers, Eli Harrison and Dermot M.

Lajue is confident that under Amorim's leadership, United will be able to win the league title in 2028 on the club's 150th anniversary, having last won the title in 2013. This season is sure to be the third time in five seasons that United have missed out on a top-four finish, and it seems to be light-years away from winning the title.

"I don't think it's an impossible task," the former richest man in the UK analyzed, "I think it's good to have a goal. If you look at Arsenal, look at Liverpool, look at how long it took them to get back to normal and get back to winning ways. This period may be a little too short, but it's not impossible. We have to test ourselves, don't we? Liverpool are a good example of this when it comes to timing, with Jurgen Klopp in charge in 2015 when they already had Michael Edwards and Ian Graham. Liverpool's process of rebuilding the team began in the summer of 2015, rebuilding the team in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, and then over the next three years, they won it all."

Rajue criticized six of United's highly-paid players by name, saying that the players' salaries were too high or not good enough to play for the club. According to him, United have yet to pay off the transfer fees of Jadon Sancho, Casemiro, Antony, Hojlund, Lisandro Martinez and Andre Onana.

The Manchester United boss said that if the club does not cut expenses, the club is at risk of bankruptcy by Christmas this year. He said he faced such a financial dilemma after he bought part of the stake for 1.3 billion pounds. "This summer, we have to 'buy' Antony, 'buy' Sancho, 'buy' Casemiro, 'buy' Lima, 'buy' Hojlund and 'buy' Onana, each for around £17 million." "Even if we don't buy people, we have to pay a transfer fee, it's not a light switch that can be turned off at any time. It's all something left over from the past, whether we like it or not, we have inherited it and have to settle it."

Rajue went on to complain: 'In the case of Jadon Sancho, who is now at Chelsea, we have to pay half of his salary and £17 million to buy him this summer. Some people aren't good enough, some people may be overpaid, but for us, it takes time to build a team that we are solely responsible and accountable for. We are in a period of transition from the past to the future. There are some fantastic players in the squad, the captain is known to be very good and we definitely need Bruno [Fernandes], he is a fantastic player."

He brought in seven players and spent more than £200 million on his arrival, but he has a different attitude towards those he buys, such as Zirkze. "You see Zirkze in the first half against Arsenal, he really fights, doesn't he?" The 72-year-old said: "He may be more used to Serie A and it will take time for players to settle into the Premier League. I think he'll be good for Manchester United. And keep in mind that we didn't have time to prepare for the last summer window, Jason [Wilcox] was only in the job for three weeks and Omar [Bellada] was only three days. We also have some problems with the coach, whether to involve Ten Hag in the transfer or not. He didn't sign the player, but he did have a say, which is why we brought in some Dutch players."

As for his year-long tenure at Manchester United, such as the increase in ticket prices protested by fans, Rajue has defended himself. "The simple answer is that if we don't do these things, the club will run out of money at Christmas. If you spend more than you earn, you will eventually go down the road to destruction. Manchester United have gone a long way off track and if you look at those numbers, you'll see pretty scary because the ship is out of control and the costs are out of control. To put it simply, the club has been spending more than it earns for the past seven years, including this year. If this situation continues for a long time, the club will find themselves in a very difficult situation and Manchester United will only have to hold out until the end of the year. By the end of 2025, United will run out of cash. It's the first time we've said that publicly, but it's true."

Some of the problems were also of his own making, such as paying tens of millions of pounds to sack Ten Hag a few months after renewing his contract, then spending tens of millions to poach Amorim and sacking sporting director Dan Ashworth after 159 days in charge.

"I agree that Ten Hag and Ashworth's decision was wrong, I accept that and I apologise for it." Rajue said, explaining that Ashworth and other managers lacked a tacit understanding. 'If you look at the time we made the decision about Ten Hag, it was less than five minutes before the management team was in place. He had just won the FA Cup final and we were criticised for a lack of humanity when we considered a change of manager, but the decision was emotional. It took us three months before we realized we were wrong, but we kept going. I think we've corrected it, and it's a very different situation today."

Regarding the 450 layoffs, including the dismissal of Ferguille as ambassador, he defended himself: "I have to say that I don't like to read newspapers very much lately. I know that these decisions are unpopular, and that this period of change can make people uncomfortable, and some of the decisions we have to make are unpleasant. But these decisions will be necessary to get United back on their feet. It makes no sense to increase the number of employees by 250 and the club is in a period of losing a lot of money while at the same time hiring aggressively. We offer free lunches, we offer all these perks, we pay for first-class train tickets and taxis, but it's illogical that we're cutting expenses right now. There's no room for compromise in any of this, either you get things done or you don't."

Referring to the conversation with Ferdin, Rajab said, "I take my hat off to Alex. I sat with him, and there were just the two of us in the room, and I said, 'You see, the club isn't what you think, we spend more money than we make and end up in trouble. To be honest, we really can't afford to continue to pay you £2 million a year.' I said, 'It's up to you, think about it.'" He was very mature and maybe a little grumpy at first, but he accepted it, and three days later, after talking to his son, he came back and said, 'Okay, I'm giving up [the ambassadorship]. This is my decision.'" I think it's a good example of Alex's quality because he puts the club ahead of himself."

Manchester United will officially announce their future plans for Old Trafford on Tuesday, with all signs that Foster Construction will be commissioned to build a new football stadium with a capacity of 100,000 people, and Gary Neville has described the new stadium as spectacular. In response, Rajue said, "I wanted to build a truly iconic course."
