On July 27 Beijing time, the 20th round of the CSL has wrapped up. Among the four recent games, a high-scoring battle saw Yunnan snatch a 4-3 win over Shenzhen, Shandong Taishan unexpectedly fell 1-2 to Henan, a top-tier clash ended with Chengdu's dramatic 2-2 stoppage-time draw against Beijing Guoan, and Zhejiang beat Dalian 3-2. The updated table now has Chengdu at the top, Yunnan in third, Taishan sixth, and Guoan eighth!

Yunnan vs. Shenzhen. Yunnan sits near the top of the standings, while Shenzhen faces no relegation pressure, so the match turned into a goal fest with wide-open play. Despite Shenzhen taking the lead first on the road, Yunnan quickly unleashed their offense, bombarding Shenzhen's goal and scoring three consecutive goals to take a 3-1 lead. It seemed like an easy victory, but dramatic stoppage-time action saw Yunnan's defense collapse, conceding two goals to make it 3-3. Luckily, Kayo stepped up and delivered a decisive strike, miraculously completing a 4-3 victory, securing three points and moving up to third place!

Taishan vs. Henan. Both teams are veteran CSL sides. Shandong Taishan finds themselves in a mediocre position—no title hopes and no relegation worries—with coach Han Peng under heavy criticism. Henan, still fighting for survival, had greater motivation. In the first half, both sides attacked, but Shandong wasted numerous chances while Henan, playing away, used sharp counterattacks to score two goals in 15 minutes, leading 2-0. In the second half, Taishan controlled the tempo and quickly pulled one back after the restart, but the equalizer never came. Shandong Taishan eventually lost 1-2 to Henan, marking Henan's first away win over Taishan in 17 years!
Chengdu vs. Guoan. Chengdu has been dominant this season, sitting atop the standings as the biggest title favorite, but their form has recently dipped with several consecutive draws, showing clear signs of slowing down. This round featured a key clash with Guoan. In the first half, Chengdu missed multiple chances to break through Guoan's defense, while Guoan managed zero shots on target. After the break, Guoan struck first, scoring two goals to take control. However, Chengdu didn't give up and mounted a resilient comeback, scoring two goals in stoppage time to secure a dramatic 2-2 draw. Despite suffering four straight league draws, Chengdu's lead has actually widened thanks to rivals' results, now holding a 15-point advantage!

Zhejiang vs. Dalian. This match was also full of twists. Despite having two goals disallowed, Zhejiang still led by two goals. However, a resilient Dalian fought back, scoring two goals to level the score at 2-2. But Dalian ran out of steam later, and Zhejiang capitalized on a goal by Cardoso to seal a 3-2 victory, avoiding an upset and earning three hard-fought points!
