To guarantee safe and professional event organization and to satisfy the competition's standards, the VFF, in collaboration with relevant authorities, has deployed a security plan for the two home games of the Vietnamese national team at the ASEAN Hyundai Cup 2026.
At the meeting on the morning of July 24, representatives of the VFF, along with the Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi City Police, the Management Board of the My Dinh National Sports Complex, and relevant units, comprehensively reviewed the organization plans, focusing on security and safety assurance before, during, and after the matches.

The agreed contents include plans for controlling people and vehicles entering and leaving the stadium, traffic flow management, ticket inspection, prevention of counterfeit tickets and ticket scalping, as well as strengthening forces at key areas such as stands, tunnels, changing rooms, press working areas, and developing plans for handling emergency situations related to security, medical, and fire prevention.
Representatives from the units also discussed and agreed on a coordination mechanism to ensure that all organizational aspects are implemented synchronously, meeting the standards of AFF and FIFA, thereby providing a safe competition environment for players, officials, referees, fans, and the forces involved in serving the tournament.
According to the schedule, the Vietnam national team will play two home matches in the group stage of the ASEAN Hyundai Cup 2026, against Singapore on July 30 and Cambodia on August 7.
These are all matches expected to attract a large number of spectators to My Dinh Stadium to cheer for coach Kim Sang Sik and his team.
