V-League newcomer signs former CAHN player

Bac Ninh Club is further reinforcing its lineup before the 2026/27 V-League season, having secured the signing of Brazilian midfielder Vitor Hugo Rosa Nascimento.

Born in 1994 in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil, Vitor Hugo stands at 1.88m tall and possesses an impressive physical foundation. The 31-year-old midfielder is highly regarded for his tackling, interception, midfield coverage, and powerful playing style.

Before coming to Vietnam, Vitor Hugo played for several clubs in Brazil, including Comercial-SP, Esportivo, and Itabaiana. He contributed to Itabaiana's promotion to Série C in 2024 and also had the opportunity to experience the Copa Libertadores.

Since 2024, the Brazilian midfielder has moved to play in Vietnam, gaining further experience in both domestic and international competitions. He has played in the 2024/25 ASEAN Club Championship, the AFC Champions League Two, and won the National Super Cup with his former club CAHN.

The arrival of Vitor Hugo is expected to enhance the quality of Bac Ninh's midfield, providing additional tactical options with his ball recovery, defensive support, and ability to maintain balance in play.

This is one of the notable moves by Bac Ninh Club in the transfer market ahead of the 2026/27 season. The team is actively strengthening its squad with the aim of making an impression in its first season at the top level of Vietnamese football.
